Return Policy

Because each of our washi lampshades is handmade and unique, natural variations in color, texture, and shape are part of their charm and not considered defects.

For this reason, we cannot accept returns for change of mind or aesthetic reasons.

We accept returns only in cases where:

- the product arrives damaged, or

- the wrong item is delivered.


Damaged or incorrect product

In the event that a product is damaged in transit, or the wrong item is delivered, please email us at yukiyoshimurawashi@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery to make a damaged/incorrect product claim with us.  Please send clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label. Upon receiving your email, we will send you further instructions in order to process the claim, and arrangements will be made for a replacement or refund.


Refunds

After we receive and inspect the return, refunds are issued within 2–7 business days.  

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method in JPY. Your bank/card issuer controls posting times.
  • If you paid in a non-JPY currency, your bank’s exchange rate and fees may apply; we refund the JPY amount we received.


Return Shipping Costs

We cover the cost of return shipping for damaged/incorrect products.  Detailed instructions of our return shipment process will be sent to you upon receiving your email requesting a return.


Note: If you are considering purchasing our products, but are hesitant because of our general no-returns policy, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to consult with you about the product and answer any questions you may have.
